The Museum of Flight showcases its collection of more than 150 historic air and spacecraft and related artifacts in unique and inspiring exhibits. There is something for everyone to experience in these dynamic displays presenting events that have carried us from Kitty Hawk to the Moon.

Airpark

Air Force One

Walk in the footsteps of Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon on this presidential 707 jet. The livery and interior of the Museum's Air Force One are preserved as originally envisioned by designer Raymond Loewy.

Concorde

World's fastest jetliner retires to The Museum of Flight! British Airways has donated one of its recently retired Concorde supersonic airliners to the Museum. The jet, one of only twenty Concordes ever built, is the only one on display on the West Coast and one of only four outside Europe.

Bush Pilots of Alaska

Experience flight without leaving the ground in the Museum's flight simulators! Try your hand at WWII dogfights, hang gliders, or even landing on the Moon!

Kid's Flight Zone

Let your kid be the pilot! Enter the Museum's fantastic children's exhibit through a large mural depicting aerial imagery from the local area. Young intrepid flyers can strap into flight harnesses to test their piloting skills in one of two hang gliding simulators.

Re-enact the kind of space docking activities astronauts like Conrad performed during their missions.

The Blackbird

Marvel at one of the fastest aircraft ever built. The Blackbird family of aircraft cruised at speeds of more than Mach 3 and altitudes of over 85,000 feet (25,500 m).

Reflect on the beginnings of a service most people take for granted. In the early 20th century, flying mail across the U.S. was a considerably dangerous task achieved only by the most skilled and adventurous pilots.

William M. Allen
